The idea was to make a easy to shoot truck gun that could also be used for shooting matches using the less expensive 9mm ammo. Since the KelTec SUB-2000 folds in half a standard inline rail on top of the barrel would not be possible.
So a 45 degree rail mount was attached to the forearm for the EO Tech optic. This lets the shooter hold the SUB-2000 at a bit of an angle which is comfortable to shoot and does not affect accuracy negatively.
On the opposite side of the stock a Surefire G2 light was mounted to provide light if needed.
Because this SUB-2000 uses Glock 9mm magazines the Glock 18 (full auto) magazines work with this SUB-2000.
The rifle can still be folded and it fits in a range bag easily for easy transport. The EO Tech optic and light do not need to be removed or adjusted to fold the SUB-2000.
A great solution that works well.

Aimpoints 3X magnifying module is specially designed for military personnel, law enforcement, sport shooters and hunters. The Aimpoint Magnifier mounted with a LaRue Tactical QD Pivot Mount gives the shooter one hand operation, just grab the optic, pull back, and move it out of the way.
The magnifying optic moved out of line of the aiming optic is still usable for identifying targets by simply tilting the rifle. Backup Iron Sights that flip down out of the way are usable with the magnifier tiled out of the way on the LaRue Tactical mount.
We test fired this Aimpoints 3X magnifying module mounted on a LaRue Tactical QD Pivot Mount on this AR15 built by LMT (Lewis Machine & Tool) which has proven to be a very reliable platform for testing optics

We had a chance to photograph some various optic and magnifier combos on a flat top AR15 rifles. Some of these options are not so great others are very close to the ideal arrangement, you be the judge. Here are some photographs of the combinations we were able to put together while testing.

On the last day of SHOT Show 2009 we mostly took video reviews of products we were most interested in. Many of the videos were taken in HD and are still being edited. Some are already posted on the internet. Here are the still images we took while walking the floor for the fourth day at SHOT Show 2009
